The main content of the research is the analysis of the works of the philosopher. The following methods were used: problem and descriptive analytics of specific primary sources in the context of Baader’s beliefs and views. In its main points, Baader’s philosophy is the genuine Christian theism. While other theists in their religious and philosophical constructions proceeded mainly from philosophical theories and positions or only from ethical motives, and at best from general religious motives. Baader saw his task in understanding the meaning of Christian dogmas, the truth of which he did not doubt. Results. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that, being an orthodox Catholic in his religious convictions, Baader remained the same in his philosophical thinking. The basic truths of the Christian religion of Baader were basic for the philosopher in his philosophy. Research implications. The study of religious thought in the second half of the 19th century on the example of the views of the German philosopher and theologian Franz Xaver von Baader presupposes the further development of religiously philosophical knowledge of this period, and the conclusions drawn will help in understanding the influence that the philosopher had on Slavophilism, and later on Vladimir Solovyov and Nikolai Berdyaev, and German neo-romantic sociology. They will also help in understanding the ways of modern philosophy development.

Abstract
Aim. From the standpoint of social philosophy, to investigate the socio-cultural features of the processes of technology development and the formation of technological consciousness in the conditions of post-industrialism. To achieve it, the specificity of the development of modern technologies and the dynamics of post-industrial society are analyzed, and the phenomenon of technological consciousness as a social reflection of technological changes is considered. Methodology. The research is conducted on the basis of mutual complementarity of activity, socio-cultural and formational approaches. The first was used in the explication of the activity foundations of modern technologies; the second showed the complexity and diachrony of the social and cultural development of modern technologies, the third helped to clarify the model of the development of post-industrial society. Results. The analysis showed that the development of technology in the modern world is reflected at the individual and social levels within the framework of technological consciousness. “Technological consciousness” refers to a specific sphere of public consciousness, formed as a result of reflection by social subjects: firstly, over the ecological problems of the relationship between man, society, and nature-related to engineering and technology, and secondly, over the challenges and risks to social development emanating from technologies, finally, over the threats and dangers that technologies bring to the biological, social and spiritual nature of man. Research implications. The idea is substantiated that the post-industrial phase of social development has consistently developed in the form of subsequent forms: information society, knowledge society, and digital society.

Abstract
Aim. To designate the place of methodology in the system of scientific research, to substantiate the legitimacy of the Triad “theory-methodology-technique” in the process of analyzing phenomena. Methodology. The work was carried out based on a systematic approach, taking into account the interdisciplinary significance of the subject under study. Results. It is revealed that the technique specifies the methodology in the search for activity and praxeological thought. In the structure of the abilities of the subject of cognition conceptual blocks are formed: «methods - ways - technique», where methods are concretized in ways, and ways - in specific techniques. All this is the technological side of cognitive activity. Research implications. The research results can be used to improve the competency-based approach at the stage of modernization of the education system.

Abstract
Aim. To conduct a comprehensive analysis of the prospects for the formation of the imperial tradition of Russians as a system of political morality of a multi-ethnic society. Byzantium and the Balkan countries turned out to be the predecessors in this experience of tradition formation. In the Russian specifics, it manifested itself on the basis of its practical implementation in the tolerant attitude of a person to other people. Methodology. The article discusses the ideas of the relationship between the Russian imperial tradition and the spiritual heritage of the Balkans. Having established itself with the adoption of Christianity, the imperial tradition manifested itself in the moral teachings of thinkers of the Medieval Russia, in the secular directions of social thought of the XVIII - first half of the XIX centuries, in Christian, metaphysical and idealistic teachings on morality of the second half of the XIX - early XX centuries, in the unorthodox Soviet ethical thought, in the ethics of the Russian diaspora and in the modern secular context of social existence. In Russian ethical thought, traditionally, primary attention has been paid to the practical aspect of the idea of humanism, ways of implementing it. The study used civilizational and formational approaches, system-structural, comparative-historical, dialectical and comparative methods. Results. The key components of the socio-political concept of the domestic origins of the imperial tradition are identified. In this plan, it is noted that the works of thinkers of the Medieval Russia expressed a call for active concern for the welfare of another person, active philanthropy, which was considered as the basis of piety. The questions of the essence of human value, the greatness of the mind, the perfection of the spirit are highlighted. It is concluded that the Balkan-Byzantine tradition for Russians turned out to be the source in the formation of theoretical and practical concepts of religious identity and the moral basis of the existence of cultures. Research implications. The conducted research allows us to get an idea of the moral and political foundations of the imperial traditions of the Balkan Peninsula and Russia. A deep analysis of the ways of practical implementation of the idea of man as the highest value in relation to other people has become a significant contribution of Russian ethical thought to the theoretical development of the problem of the spiritual unity of the Russian society.

Abstract
Aim. To reveal the meaning of the symbiosis of spiritual postulates “faith - idea” in the axiological structure of the Cossacks. Methodology. The author analyzes the studies on the history and current state of the Cossacks, which can reveal the spiritual values of the Cossacks and trace the evolution of these values. The ontological foundations of the Cossacks in various historical epochs are analyzed and conclusions are made about the role of the symbiosis of the “faith - idea” postulates in the spiritual life of the Cossacks. The research uses the following methods of the socio-philosophical research: the method of comparative philosophical analysis, the method of synthesis, the method of interpretation. The philosophical and historical approach was also used, which made it possible to comprehend the dynamics of the spiritual values of the Cossacks. This enabled to prove the statement that, while historically changing, the spiritual values of the Cossacks changed the very nature of them as a social community. Results. It was concluded that in different historical epochs, both faith and an idea were prior in the axiological hierarchy of the Cossacks. Faith has always been the basis of their worldview. This circumstance contributed to establishing in the Cossack environment the spiritual paradigm of life and service “a Cossack without faith is not a Cossack”. Research implications. The study proves that the spiritual values of the Cossacks are based on the symbiosis of spiritual postulates “faith - the ideal of being” or “idea - faith”, which is important for the study of the axiological foundations of this unique social community. The practical significance of the work lies in the fact that the conclusions obtained in its course can be used for improvement of the state policy to support the Russian Cossacks, as well as for the formation of a national ideal on the basis of the “faith-idea” postulates established by the Cossacks; for making adjustments to the content of general education and family upbringing, for supporting the activities of the Russian media and social institutions oriented on developing the basic values among the Cossacks and their dissemination in the country.

Abstract
Aim. To reveal the features of the philosophy of love in Russian literature. Methodology. The literary and artistic works of the classics of the 19th century, of the early 20th century and of the period of the Great Patriotic War are analyzed. Based on the historical-philosophical approach and socio-philosophical analysis, it was concluded that in Russian literature, love is multilayered, contradictory, different levels of love are revealed through different times and historical events, striving for its full disclosure, never reaching this goal. With all the variety of manifestations of love, there is something in common in its nature, meaning and character, namely, the metaphysics of love, which is the true existence of the man. General scientific methods of theoretical knowledge, methods of system analysis, comparison and generalization of foreign and Russian studies on the problem of the philosophy of love in the works of Russian writers and poets are applied. Results. In the context of the disclosure of the philosophy of love, expressed in the creative activity of Russian classics, love is presented as a source of being that exists in various forms, which can be classified as follows: 1) in the form of absoluteness and objectivity, arising without preconditions, love permeates absolutely everything; 2) in the form of relativity and subjectivity, love is an inner experience of a person; 3) in the form of transcendence, love goes beyond corporeality, life, gaining immortality. Love can be a striving for perfection, and then it itself becomes perfection, in which God is the semantic intuition of love. Attraction and admiration, lust and care, sympathy and reverence - this is the classification of love. Love is plastic in its appeal to the beautiful, the ascent from the beauty of the body to the beauty of the soul, to the beauty of the spirit, and God. A cross-cutting theme of the works of Russian writers is: Love as Life and Love as Death, as a great sacrifice, and self-sacrifice. Research implications. The material on the topic under study is summarized. The results of the study contribute to the methodological basis of social philosophy and are due to the technogenic civilization, information and other technologies that are embedded in new social relations and change the meanings of human life values, transforming the most vulnerable of them. The topic of gender relations, the relationship between a man and a woman, the modern understanding of love comes into conflict with the philosophy of love expressed in Russian literature. Awareness of the primacy of the spiritual side of love, its sacred meaning, love as a mystery, beauty, which has its own secret, mysterious language, can become a guideline for the spiritual and moral development of society and is an effective means of manifesting the essence of man and restoring his integral nature and patriotism development.

Abstract
Aim. To consider the problem of self-development of the individual in the context of globalization and the destruction of habitual models and conditions of human existence, to justify the need for new civilizational strategies for sustainable development based on the values contained in the space of culture. Methodology. The main content of the study is the understanding of self-development processes of the individual in the context of the destruction of the usual models of managing social processes and the emergence of new models. Particular attention is paid to the fact that in the conditions of the permanent state of society, difficulties arise in predicting the future. Results. The above analysis showed that the self-development of the individual is possible through an appeal to the values contained in the space of culture in the conditions of the destruction of the usual models of the society development, various kinds of crises. At the same time, the relationship between self-development and health is obvious, understanding of which is not limited today only to the medical aspect. Research implications. Today, self-development of the individual must be considered as an extremely significant process, which is complicated by many external and internal factors. Social instability, frequent changes in value orientations, blurring of ideas about morality complicate not only the process of identification, but also the self-development of the individual, especially among young people. Appeal to culture through “slow”, thoughtful reading of literary texts and the revival of family reading traditions is an effective means of self-development of the personality of the younger generation and ensuring its health.
