Abstract
Contemporary psychology is characterized by a contradictory combination of attempts to become an empirical science and practices which consist in application of various pseudoscientific «methods». Thus the knowledge about man received with the help of such techniques turns against human beings. A necessity arises of a bioethical approach as an essential form of humane expertise of contemporary psychological «practices». It is necessary to apply the physician’s main principle «do no harm» to the professional activities of the psychologist. In pedagogical psychology training it is rational to support the course which is based on the synthesis of Orthodox Christian ethics and anthropology.
