To the Urgency of Philosophical Analysis of History
Abstract
The article deals with the problem of philosophical analysis of history as important methodological tool of studying the past. The author specifies the reasons for addressing this issue and proves the urgency of philosophical comprehension of history. It is also stated that due to its reflexive nature philosophy itself needs history. Some ways in which history influences philosophy are shown. The analysis of mutual influence of philosophy and history allowed the author to conclude that the two phenomena interpenetrate and their dialectic combination is required (with the account of specificity of each of them).
