TO THE ISSUE ON CRITICISM OF THE PEUDOSTATEMENTS IN LOGICAL POSITIVISM
Abstract
The article analyzes the characteristics
of the representatives of philosophy of
logical positivism, in particular, members of the
Vienna Circle, dealing with traditional philosophical
problems as sense-contents. These include
such philosophical concepts as life, material,
consciousness, spirit, freedom, etc., because
they can not be empirically verifi able, and therefore
do not lead to increase scientifi c knowledge .
This article has consistently emphasized the logical
positivist position on the sentences of metaphysics,
which are, using Wittgenstein language, the unutterable
. In keeping with the positions of Tractatus,
logical positivism all metaphysical sentences relating
to the unutterable, declared sense-contents.
