EXPERIENCE IN DEWEY’S PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION
Abstract
The article examines an important component of the Philosophy of Education by D. Dewey - pedagogical theory of experience. In terms of this theory experience should promote the formation of child’s personality capable of using both present possibilities and «dynamics of the changing world» at its most. The theory made a basis for continuous education of each person since it was constructed on the principles of continuity of experience and interaction of objective and subjective factors the combination of which determined the value and educational potential of experience.
