<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article provides a comparative analysis of
basic philosophical thesis of constructivism and the conception
of information-oriented society. The author develops the
idea that the constructivism ideas do not fully correspond to
the modern scientific and rational approach to the process of
cognition. The subject of cognition cant be regarded as an
inner closed system as it is stated in the theory of constructivism,
but its a system that is open to the world. The author
makes a conclusion that the modern interpretation of scientific
rationality is mostly based on the concept of informationoriented
society.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>"информационное общество"</kwd><kwd>конструктивизм</kwd><kwd>субъект</kwd><kwd>научная рациональность</kwd><kwd>рационально-познавательная деятельность</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>information-oriented society</kwd><kwd>constructivism</kwd><kwd>subject</kwd><kwd>scientific rationality</kwd><kwd>rational and cognitive activity</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Князева Е.Н.
